Limestone Analytics partnered with Nutrition International to develop and launch the Cost of Not Breastfeeding Tool, an interactive online platform that quantifies the health and economic consequences of suboptimal breastfeeding practices across countries. This evidence-based tool supports advocacy efforts by clearly illustrating how failing to promote and support breastfeeding can result in preventable deaths, increased healthcare costs, and lost productivity.
Limestone was responsible for the full design and development of the tool, which included refining the underlying model, optimizing data presentation, and deploying a user-friendly interface that enables users to explore country-specific impacts. The tool was designed with policy engagement in mind, helping stakeholders make the case for greater investment in breastfeeding promotion and support initiatives.
