Limestone, as a subcontractor on the LEAP mechanism, led the design and preparation of strategies to engage the private sector for USAID’s Bureau for the Middle East, as well as six USAID Missions in the region. These private sector engagement action plans operationalized USAID’s first PSE policy and delineated how each USAID team would seek out opportunities to collaborate with companies, investors and private philanthropy. The activity also included a PSE brainstorming workshop in Washington, a private sector assessment in Morocco, and direct collaboration with USAID teams in Egypt and Tunisia.
