Kemal Bagzibagli

Senior Economist

Kemal Bagzibagli, Ph.D., is a senior economist at Limestone Analytics and an adjunct faculty at ADA University. Before joining Limestone, he was an assistant professor at Eastern Mediterranean University and served as the deputy minister at the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, Northern Cyprus. He managed numerous civil aviation, highways, traffic, maritime, telecommunication, meteorology, and postal services projects during his duty. Besides his academic career, he has worked as a consultant on economic and risk analysis of development projects and public investment management topics in the past decade. Across Africa, Asia, and North America, he has delivered several executive training programs in these fields. Dr. Bagzibagli has peer-reviewed publications and research papers on investment appraisal, economic development, monetary policy, applied econometrics, and knowledge management.
He brings broad experience in the planning, appraisal, and implementation of development projects to Limestone Analytics. His recent assignments include the economic analysis of policy and institutional reform, industrialization, and national resource management interventions in Malawi, a costing study in Pakistan, and several MCC CBAs focusing on financial support and informal training in El Salvador, land reform in Benin, financial services in Morocco, procurement modernization in Indonesia, water supply in Mozambique, and transportation in Georgia.
